Privacy Policy — Grimoire Clash

Grimoire Clash ("the App") is developed by Paper Compass Software ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. This is a straightforward, plainly-worded policy — not a template that says more than the App actually does.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address and password — used solely to authenticate you. Passwords are never stored or visible to us; authentication is handled by our backend provider, Supabase.
• Username — chosen by you, visible to other players you interact with (friends, opponents).
• Gameplay data — win/loss record, in-game level, your highest-damage word, and the state of games you play (letters drawn, words played, HP/shield values, turn history).
• Friend relationships — who you've sent or accepted friend requests with.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone. We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you sign in with Google or Apple

If you use Google or Apple Sign-In, we receive only the basic profile information (name/email) that provider shares with us to create your account — governed also by that provider's own privacy policy.

How your information is used

Solely to operate the App: authenticating you, storing your game progress and stats, matching you with opponents, and enabling the friends/challenge features. Nothing here is used for advertising or sold to anyone.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, which processes it on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments. We do not share this data with any other third party.

Your control over your data

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the App. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, stats, friend relationships, and game history — this is not reversible. You can also email us at the address below to request deletion or ask what data we hold about you.

Children's privacy

Grimoire Clash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
